The Boys' Institute cricket teams liave had an exceptionally successful niiu during tha piwc season, us they were successful in winning the \y.lioie lour championships whiclilney entered lor. 'ihe Uld Boys' third grade team was successful in winning the championship for the second year in succession, having played fourceen games, won. twelve, and lost two. Tho bonior Boys' A team has been returned joint cnampions with St. Cuthburt's, having played ten games, won nine, and lost one. Last year thii team finished rumiers-up to Hult. The Junior Boys' A team have won the junior A grade championship for the second year in succession, playing eight ganiis, soven of which were won, and one being lust, "me Institute Junior i> team tietl lor second place in the A grade competition with St. Cuthbert's. A new grade m boys' cricket was inaugurated this season —namely, the Junior B grade for bbys under lti years of age. Tho Institute C team was successfu,l in ■ winning this championship, playing nine games and winning nine. Tho institute teams are to be commended on the record which they have established in Wellington by winning all four cups. The Wellington \io*s' Cricket League medals for the boys' batting and bowling averages have been awarded as lollow : Senior boys-Batting, G. '.Bolt, bi. Cuthbert's, 2G.G; bowliv.g, W.'luryey, fat.
