FOlt 10,000 MEN. The drawing of 30,000 B Class men by ballot, lias begun yesterday, and will probably be to-day. The Gov- ■; eminent Statistician (Jl.r. Malcolm I'raser) is conducting the drawing, and Mr. S. E. M'C'arthy is the supervising magistrate. During the day Mr. .1. P. Luke,, Mayor of Wellington', ;in<! Mr. H. E.Holland were present, and the Defence* Expenditure Commission paid a visit. AVlien the 10,000 have been"drawn about. 8000 will remain in Class B.
