RUGBY

COLLEGE OLD BOYS. There was a very encouraging attendance of members at the annual meeting of the /Wellington College Old Boys' Football Club, which was held on Wednesday. In his opening remarks, the chairman (Mr. M. C. Barnett) appealed to those present to keep up the Old Boys' spirit which had always tan a feature of Wellington College, and thus live up to the traditions set by ex-members who were now fighting overseas. He urged those present to carry on, and lo tap the Old Boys' colours on the football field, and successfully at that. He moved the adoption of the report. Mr. L. M'Kenzie seconded tho motion, which was curried unanimously. Officers for the ensuing season, were elected as follow:—President, Mr. J. P. Firth; vice-presidents, Mr. 51. C. Burnett and Dr. Young; club captain, Mr. Leu M'Kenzie; lion, auditor, Mr. .If. DesbDrough; lion, secretnry, Mr. 1 , . B. Carr; lion, treasurer, Mr. H. Porter; committee, Messrs. W. E. Benin, B. Harris, W. Edwards. S. Oolemnn, and W Marris; debates to t'ho Wellington ftiigby Union. Messrs. L. M'Kenzie and W. \V. Cook. A motion was carried unanimously expressing Hie opinion that, the club should enter one team I he. same as last year, lull (hat if Iho union wished to qllor the arrangement? this year the club should not oppose it.
