ROYAL COMIC OPERA COMPANY'S EFFORT. ' This afternoon tho lady members of the Royal Comic Opera Company will make an attack upon the citizens o£ Wellington, and the result of their onslaught is expected to be tho selling of a largo number of tickets for thei matinee performance of "Mr. Manhattan;*' which will be staged at the Grand. Opera Bouse on Saturday afternoon next, tlie whole of the proceeds going to the Salvation Army tied Jersey Fund. Special interest is being taken in tho matinee performance of "Mr. Manhattan," because every 1 purchaser of a ticket will have a chance to win one of two .Co War Bonds, which have been donated by. the J. C. Williamson, Ltd., management. 'Ine box plans are now open at tho Bristol.
