AN AIR RAID THAT WAS WORTH WHILE
FRENCH DESCENT ON KARISRUHE. (Rec. April 7, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, April 5. As the result of the recent French raid on Karlsruhe forty people were killed and a hundred wounded. Bombs at Metz-Sablons crippled eight locomotives and blew up a munitions ■factory and gasometer. The explosion of the munitions killed fifty people.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
