This is believed to ! ,<be a world's record for an animal of this breed, and an Australasian record ; ' for any bovine, llossrs H. and V. White, ; of LeoneJ New South Wales, paid 465 guineas for the 17-months bull Togo, ! by the same sire, the dam being Jvne. J.ir. Kinross White bought Taffy, an 18-months. bull, by British Mark. The other three young bulls lealised 120, i ICo, and ISO guineas. Cows sold from 20 to 75 guineas; heifers rising two ; . years 31 to;-180 guineas'; calves, 12 to 50. guineas. Threp imported bulls were j sold/Guild Bros., of Temuka, bought 'British Mark for 420 guineas; J. Stevenson, of Mount ll'oyal, bought Royal !- for 155 guineas; awl N. Canjeron, Tasmania, secured Prince Burnish of Ba!- | iindailocli for 100 guineas.
