CHRISTIAN SCIENCE LECTURE

A lecture on "Christian Science" wns delivered in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall last night by Mr. William E. Rathvon, a member of the Board of Lectureship of the Mother Church of Christian Science at Boston. Mr. Rathvon spoke for about an hour. He enunciated and explained some of the main features of the Christian Scientists' belief, and of their outlook upon life. He did not attempt to lead bis audience, over any ground that could be considered controversial, and his talk went to showthat there are no very important differences in the rules of life and conduct as believed in by tho people of his faith and those of other people professing other Christian faiths.
