COST OF LIVING
REPORT OF A COMMISSION OF .INQUIRY. Perth, March 30. The report of the Commission of Inquiry into the Cost, of Living states that freights and insurances are five times greater than hofore the war, and tho cost of textiles two and a half times greater. It recommends tho diversiou of excess profits to the State and increased direct taxation on all surplus incomes.—Press Assn.
