PREMIER'S MOTION ADOPTED. Cape Town, March 29. The Premier's motion expressing appreciation of the efforts of the Army and praying that complete victory may crown its noble and heroic stand was adopted, after a heated debate, by 62 votes to 21. The minority was composed of exclusively Nationalists. On the announcement of the division, members rose and sang the National Anthem—an unprecedented occurrence in \ the Assembly.—Aus.-N.Z.
