It is notified in this week's Gazette that the following have been appointed to be members of the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners under the Jjand for Settlements Act:—Alfred Richard Harris, of East Tamaki, Auckland; Mathias Pauleen, of Takapau, Havke's Buy; John Heslop, of Eltham, Taranaid; James Stevenson, of Flaxton, Canterbury; James Smith, of Greenfield, Otago; and Henry Jonathan Middleton, of Waimahaka, Southland.
