THE MAN-POWER BILL
MILITARY AGE TO JiE RAISED. (Rec. March 29, 5.5 p.m.)London, March 28. The "Daily Telegraph" says the Government will probably submit the Man-Power Bill on the reassembling of Parliament and pass it quickly as an urgent war measure. Tne provisions are still being considered, but it has .been practically decided to raise the military age to at least forty-five, and possibly fifty-five, to enable the older men to realese the younger for the battlefields. Cabinet lias discussed the question of conscription iu Ireland, but has reached no decision.— Aue.-N.2j. Cable Assn.
