The Waiohino Eiver Board, Groytown, has voted £25 towards a groyne put in the 'Waiqhina River by the Ahiakouka lliver Board. Tho total cost was £115. Mr. Frank Wall, of Maryborough, lias offered to bear the whole cost of putting a lnit tip near Mount Hector, on tho Greytown-Otaki tourist route. The Greytown Committee will immediately give effect to the donor's wishes in tlie matter. The hut will be erected near the tarn on the north of Hector.
