POULTRY CONFERENCE
The annual Poultry Conference opens in the Beehive Chambers, Courtenay Place, at 10 a.m. to-day. Yesterday several southern and northern delegatos arrived, and it is expected the attendance will be a record. The conference is open to all poultry-keepers. The Mayor will accord f ho delegates a reception at 11.30. In order to uiiuimißO expense, the conference will last only two days this year. Several important .remits "will be discussed. 'Die financial position of the association shows a credit balance of £45. The conference social will be held 'his evening, and on Monday officers from the Department j of Agriculture will be present.
