"MITCHELL" EFFICIENCY.
The Mitchell Company was founded in 1834, and it had been jnnmifactunng for 68 years when tho first "Mitchell" Motorcar was built. , They were engaged 111 producing alt classes of vehicles, where competition was intense, profits very small, and success depended on absolute cfhciencv in all factory methods. They realised that the same conditions would apply in tho building of motor-cars, so they started eome fourteen years ago to prepare for Jonn \V. Bate was then, as now, the leading Efficiency Engineer, so the factory decided ho was the man they wanted. Mr. Bate insisted on one model plant, every machine nnd process being adopted to that one model. It is made in two sizes—the 7-passenger with 127 in. wheel base, and the 5-passengor with 120 in. wheel base, alid in each instance the standards are alike. The 100 per cent: over-strength necessitated the use of costly steel, and thfa has only been made possible by factory efficiency. The "Bate" cantilever springs are recognised as tne most comfortnblo in the world. No shock absorbers, snubbersor rebound straps are necessary. Tho public are invited to inspect the latest- a and 7-passengor models at tho premises or— INGLIS BROS. AND CO., LTD., Distributors, 24-2G Harris Street, Wellington.-Advt,
