MEN MAKE A PROPOSITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Ghristchurch, March 27. A deputation of Otira tunnel workers ' waited on Sir William Eraser, Minister of Public Tories, to-day, and asked whether, it' the men returned to work at once, the Minister would make a proper investigation of their grievances. Tho Minister promised that if the men returned to work now he was prepared to visit tho tunnel soon sifter the close of tho coming session and investigate 'any grioiance the workers have.'
