The mine manager reports, under date March 22:—"During the week the following work has been in, progress. North of the main crosscut the drivo on the reef was advanced 10ft. There is still a good flow of water coming from tho face. Tho crosscut into the footwall was' extended 4ft. Tho country is of good description. 'In tho south end three stopes are going on the main reef. There i 3 not much mineral in the ore. Ono stopo is going on tho. hanging-wall reef. Tho reef is small, but well mineralised."
