PRICE OF BREAD
FIVEPENCE TWO POUND LOAF OVER THE COUNTER. The Board of Trade has . fixed the price of bread in Wellington as fol- , lows:—Private delivery at 5Jd- per twopound loaf, 6d. over tho counter, and 4Jd. to shops to retail at sd. remain unchanged. There has, however, been a slight increase in the price to be charged by bakers to the hotels and restaurant trade, viz., SJd- less 21 per cent.
