FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications aro for freshening nor- , therlies to westerly winds, squally at times in tho southward of Cook Strait. Expect mild end hazy conditions, with increasing cloudiness, rain following on tho West Coast and southern districts. Falling barometer everywhere.
