To-night Mr. Fred Collier, operatio bari. lone, from -Melbourne, will give a song recital in the Concert Chamber, Town Hall. Mr. Collier will sing The Prologuo (Pagliacci) ';Eri Tu" (TJn BaUo), "The Toreador's Song, Carmen, "Route Marchin'.V Stock, "The Pipes of Pan" (Elgar), "King Charles" [M. V. White), Liza Lo hmann'B Cowboy Balladß, No. 1, "The Rancher's Daughter," Night-herding Song, and The Sk'cwball Black, and numerous other numbers." The assisting artists are Mr. Harold Whittle, > pianist, who, with Mr. Collier, toured with Madame Melba iu all her recent Australian tours, and Miss Teresa H'Enrod, tfTe well-known soprano, and Mr. Frank uonhstone, 'cellist. Miss Florence Young has an excellent singing part in Anna Tavara, the red widow ot Bolslievlk tendencies. As to tho oostuming 'of the play, report speaks of the wonders of the dresses displayed. It is claimed in this direction J. 0. Williamson, Ltd., have gone 'one better than their previous .best. Much pleasure may be anticipated from the musio of uo noted a coinposer as Charles Gebest, who has as collaboirateurs such past masters of light opera libretto as Messrs. Ohamning Pollock and Rennold Wolf. HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The Johnson Revue Company in 'The. Kissing Maid" keep up their reputation lis lively dispensers of light and airy frivolity at His Majesty's Jhcatre. The cuicie etiorts oi' Gus Franks, Harry Burgess, and Les Warton avo features oi a bright entertainment, whilst the dancing of a youthful ballet makes an animated hackground to many oi the songs, Mr. J. 0. Bain, and his daughter Verua (who.Bhows promise as a dancer), the HarVfuis, and the Three Garrs also figure on the bill.

EVERYBODY'S THEATEE. Tho drama, "They're Off," now screening at Everybody's. Theatre, contains vivid and realistic' pictures of a steeplechase, the race being tile climax to a most interesting tale. The supports include scenic, comedy, and industrial subjects. ' '
ORGAN RECITAL. The organ recital civon in the Town Hall last night by So Sty Onanist- (Mr. Bernard Page) opened with a Sonatina in A Minor (Karg iilort). This tuneful number, with its flno cadences, was followed by the third , movement from ColeridgeTaylor's Forest Scenes Suite (Op. oo), "Tne i'hantom .Tells His Tale of Longing." The movement - Is a characteristic piece of work, with a strongly imaginative "flavour, i TuCh came the famous "Prizo Song" fr'ffm Act 3 of Wagner's "Dio Meistersinger." The third movement from "iioherefazade" (Suite "yninhoniquo lor Orchestra) by • lUmsky-Korsakoll was another interesting number.-:It was followed by Tchaikovsky's 'Elegy 'No. 2 in G, and tue . programme ••"was : completed by a Scherzo |iu F 4 Minor (Sandiford Turner). Mr. Pagej as usual, 1 played with fine, technique 'and excellent*- judgment, and his audience heartily enjoyed the concert.
