By Telegraph—Press Association.' . Christchurch, March' 22. Offerings of wheat' are not quite so large as they were, though a fair quantity has been submitted during the last few days. There are few oats offering, and mostly in small lots. White oats are particularly scarce. The market is firmer and bright samples of coloured or white oats are now worth up to 4s. 2d. at country stations. There, is practically no barley offering, most of the grain having changed hands. The oatsheaf chaff market is a little quieter. A fairly large amount of potatoes are offering, but only sound samples aro in demand, and these are (inner, the ruling price for this and next month's delivery being £3 15s. to £4. Thrashing of peas has commenced, and there is a good demand ill the hope that it piay be possible to export them. Partridge are worth 7s. to 7s. 4d. at country stations.
