There was a spirited demand for English Leicesters, which sold up to 100 guineas, this price being obtained by the Canterbury Agricultural College, but other breeds were dull of Eale. The range of prices was:—Lincolns, sgns. to 25gns. • Romneys, 20gns.' to 30gns.; Border Leicesters, 12gns. to 27igiis.; English Leicesters, lOgns. to lOOgns.; Southdowns, sgns. to 2ogns.; Corriedales, 9gns. to 35giis.; Shvopshires, lOJgns.
