This afternoon on the Newtown and Hataitai Clubs' greens_ will bo played the games between sectional winners in the St. Patrick's Day tournament, which took placo on Monday last. A great "round up" of rabbits in England was to have begun at the end of December. So few have been killed during the past year that in some parts the. country is over-run with them. Lord Lamboilrno (formerly Colonel Lockwood), chairman of the committee which had the matter in hand, remarked: "Wo liopo to provide ample facilities for trapping, snaring, or netting rabbits. Australians are very clover sit netting, and we shall try to arrange 'for convalescent Australian soldiers to tako part in a useful work, which doubtless thoy will find enjoyable."
