BRITAIN'S MAN-POWER
MINERS' FEDERATION VOTE AGAINST A "COM3-OTJT."
(Rec. March 21, 8.25 p.m.) London, March 20. The complete ballot of the Miners' Federation indicates that there is a majority of 2900 against a combout. The vote was small, many abstaining from voting.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
MINERS' DELEGATES RECONSIDERING THE QUESTION. .(Ree. March 21, 8.25 p.m.)
London, March 20. In view of the decision of the Miners' Federation on the combing-out question, delegates arc privately con-' ferring with a view to reconsidering the man-power question. A majority are in favour of using the federation s machinery in order to find the required 50,000 men—"The Times.".
