CAMP NOTES

The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:— Pte. J. Friedlander, 36th N.Z.M.R., to be corpora] while acting as records clerk; Pte. H. H. Owen, A Coy.; 38th, to be lance-corporal. The undermentioned N.C.O.'s, having qualified as assistant instructors in physical and bayonet training, aro entitled to wear the 1 adge denoting same: —Cpls. M. Grogan and C. L. Bacon, S.P. and B.T. Class. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Trentham: — Special Physical and Bayonet Training Class: Cpls. S.,A. M'Donald and J. W. Cunningham, to be sergeants. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Trentham:— N.Z. Engineers '_ Rfts.: Sgt. J. M'Kay, to be regimental sergeantmajor, .whilst employed as assistantengineer instructor at-the camp. B Gov., 39th Rfts.: Cols." C. H. Archer", C. \Y. Cook., and F. Egan, to be sergeants; Ptes. R. D. Kidd, R. J. Linton, .1. H. Lucas, C. C. M'Donald, G. B. Campbell, G. H. R. Fisher, K. Y. Mitchener, D. Lauder, G. Oilman, and J. E. Gilby, to be lance-cor-porals.
