TO EFFECT ECONOMY IN COAL, (Rcc. March 18, 10 p.m.) London, March 18. The "Daily Telegraph" states that a new order is to bo issued, closing tho thea-tros, music-halls, and kinemas at 9.30 at night after April 1. Tho "Telegraph" believes that the order will also apply to clubs and restaurants. The Coal Controller is responsible for tho measure, the object of which is to effect ecoiiomv in coal. Theatrical managers are alarmed for fear the' measure should mean tho giving up' of evening performances. Tho Controller is receiving a deputation of theatre employers and employees to-day Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. \
