While walking along Manners Street yesterday forenoon a young woman named Lilian Barton slipped and fell heavily on the pavement. She was carried into George Fowlds's, Ltd., ehop, and Dr. Claridge summoned. A'fter an examination he ordered the sufferer's removal to the hospital, where it was ascertained that she had sustained an injury to the right thigh.
