PEACE NEGOTIATIONS
AMERICAN ENVOY APPROACHED. (Rec. March 17, 11.45 p.m.) Now York, March 16. Advices received at the Allied Embassy state that representatives of Austria, Turkey, and Bulgaria approached the American Envoy at Berne and endeavoured to • open unofficial jiegotiations for peace. The suggested terms' included Turkey's and Bulgaria's endorsement of the no annexations etipulation. The move is certain to be ignored.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assu.
