EXPLOSION IN FRANCE
MUNITIONS DEPOT BLOWN UP THIRTY KILLED AND MANY INJURED . • (Rec. March 17, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, March 15. Two terrific explosions were followed by fires in a munitions depot at St. Denis. The glass was'shattered everywhere and tlie»shop fronts demolished in a score of streets. There was intense excitement. The first thought was that German aeroplanes had reached tho city without warning. At least thirty wero killed and many injured, though tho wounds are mostly slight.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assu. (R<x:.
