RATIONING LONDON
SCHEME A GREAT SUCCESS. London, March 14. Lord Rhondda says that when general rationing is enforced on ' April 7, hard physical labourers will have an extra 50 ner cent, of meat,' chiefly bacon, and very hard physicni labourers, 100 .per cent, extra. This will bo possible owing to the voluntary selfsacrifice of the people of the United States.. ■ The rationing scheme in London is a great success.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
