By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, March 15. Frank Vaughan, a single man 45 years of age, was burned to death in a hut at Totara Valley on Thursday evening. Neighbours saw the place burning and ran over and saw Vaughan trying to'get out, but before they reached him he fell asphyxiated, and they could not then reach him.
