GOLF
JOHNSOiWILLE CLUB. Mr. W. Wallis (president) occupied the chair at the annual meeting of the Johnsonville Golf Club held last evening. The annual report and balancesheet (as published) were adopted, and satisfaction was expressed at the club's financial position and the prospects of tho coming season. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Hon. Sir J. G. Ward, K.C.M.G.; president, Mr. W. Wallis; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Moore, It. S. Kent, and C. Treweek; committee, Messrs. H. I. Graves, J. N. Ellis, and P. L. Porter; hon. secretary, Mr. W. Macbeth; hon. treasurer, Mr. C. B. Redward; captain, Mr. Dunbar Sloano; hon. auditor, Mr. T. H. Gibson. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr. C. R>. Ingram, the retiring secretary.
