Simpson, Auckland, improved harness for agricultural implements; J. Astall, Wellington, an improved piston; W. Harrison, Pirron Yallock, improvements in animal rugs; G. T. Spa-ul, Randwick, a device for examining handwriting; J. W. M'Larin, sen., Auckland, improved apparatus for testing the germination of seeds; C. S. Wakefield, London, improvements in temporary or portable buildings.
