ANNUAL MEETING.
Hie annual meeting of the British Israel Association was held in St. John's schoolroom last evening. A report of tho year's work was read, by tho secretary. Tho report showed that tho membership had considerably increased, about sixty being now enrolled. Lectures had been given monthly during'the year, and during August, 1917, a series of interesting lectures were given by Mr. Billing, of Oamaru, on various subjects under tho heading of "The, Great War in Prophecy as Revealed in the Scriptures." These lectures created very great interest. The election of officers.resulted as follows:— President, Mr. It. Hall; vice-presidents, Messrs. M'Millan and Besant; secretary and treasurer, Miss Chatwin; executive, Mesdamos Murray and Le Bherz, Messrs. Le Bherz, M'Millan, Besant, and the president; librarian, Mrs. Le Bherz. This was followed by a vei-.v interesting lecture by the Rev. Mr. itumgay on "Daniel's Soventy "Weeks," from Daniel 9, 20, 27. The meeting closed wit ha vote of thanks to the lecturer, and the Benediction.
