Lively Theatrical Easter. Easter time will see the initiation of three important tours of New Zealand by sterling attractions.. . .At Wellington the Royal Comic Opera- Company will initiate a tour at the Grand Opera House; her© in the new musical comedy "Katinka," interest in which is likely to be accentuated by reason 'of the fact that it will be the premiere of the'piece in Australasia. In ' Christchurch" Miss Ada Reeve, that brilliant musical comedy artist ..who was so successful last year, will commence a tour of- the Dominion, which sho promises to make a comprehensive one; and in Auckland the Allan Wilkio Dramatic Company will return with tho popular war drama ."Seven Days 1 Leave," which has now been running for 450 nights in London. It will interest Wellington people' to know that Miss Marie Fix (professionally known as Miss Ncy) will bo a member of the Wilkie Company.. The tour will be under the auspices of the Fuller management. Ada Reeve's Return. Miss Ada Reeve is returning to New Zealand at Easter. Since that brilliant artist and soldiers' friend' was here in October last she has been appearing constantly in Melbourne and Sydney with unvarying success, latterly in tho_ musical comedy "Winnie Brooke, Widow," which was one of the. l bright shows of the summer season in Australia. . Miss Reeve, who wilVreturn with a company largely composed of new artists, is to open in Cliristchurch at Easter,.awl will thereafter visit all. the principal,. and secondary centres in the Dominion. Accompanying her on .tho tour is that .admirable tenor, Mr. Tallcur Andrews, who visited New Zealand some, years ago, starring in '•The Girl in tho Taxi" and "The Girl in the Train," and in a revival of the "Chocolate Soldier." Mr. Andrew .sustained the-name part with . much distinction. Everyone who heard and saw Miss Reeve on the occasion of her . last tour will, wish to see her again, and interest, will be added to the attraction by reason of the. fact that, sho will bring along with her an entirely new repertoire of the.
