FAVOURABLE DAIRYING YEAR. ■ The present dairying season has boon a very- successful one throughout New Zealand, and there is every prospect of it-being a long one. . Of recent years it has not been uncommon to find the dairying season cut oIF short fairly early in- the- autumn. The run of droughts that we encountered a whilo back cut - weeks off the lives of the dairying, seasons, and took many pounds out of the po'cketii of the farmers, who were crying out for rain. "■■ This season wo have .oscaped a diqughty summer, aud the autumn has been good. There has been ample Tain. Tho result is that the cows are milking on well, and there is no sign of an early end to the season. This, of course, will help to swell production.
