« : ADDITIONAL SUM TO BE RAISED FOR MILITARY WORK. . By Telegraph-—PrefH Association. Christchurch; March 8. At tho Congregational Union meeting to-day the Rev. W. H . Vickery (Lower Hutt) was admitted as a ministerial member of the union. Tho report of the pastors' provident fund showed that during tho last eight years the fund had doubled itself. • The military report emphasised tho good, work dono by the united institutes at Featherston and Tauhercnikau. It was decided to raise an additional £200 for military work.
