The Anglo-Swedish agreement concerning tonnage has occasioned indignation, in Germany. The."North German Gazette'' states that, according to the Declaration of London, these ships must be considered enemy ships. The transfer of tonnage is equivalent to direct participation in the economic war against Germany. Neutrals, thcre- , fore, arc committing acts incompatible with neutrality.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
