CI CAMP SPORTS

B COMPANY WINS THE CUP. At the athletic sports held in the CI Camp at Tauherenikau the silver cup, presented by L. D. Nathan and Co., Ltd., of Wellington, was won by li Company of the draft .in camp, that company scoring the highest number "of points. Tliero were also valuable cash prizes and trophies donated. The various scores were as follow :— B Company, 43£; D Company, 25; A Company, 16; C Company, 13J; E Company, 9. J n view of the inclement weather, with occasional squalls of rain, and the rough nature.of the track rendering fast times impossible, it is considered that the performances of the competitors was good. The officials in charge had a strenuous day, and deseive credit for the manner in which the sports were managed. The CI Camp Band, under Bandmaster Wills, played throughout the day, and in the i-veniu" when a camp-fire concert was held- ° ~,'■•.
