THE COMING BLOW IN THE WEST
ENEMY'S PREPARATIONS PRACTICALLY COMPLETE STRENGTH OF THE CONTESTANTS COMPARED (Roc. March 7, 7.40 p.m.) Londqn, March 6. A "high military authority" states the strength of tho euomy divisions on the Weßt front is still increasing. The&ennans have now a majority of some sixteen divisions over tho Allies, but that does not mean that they havo a superior strength, owing to the Allies' divisions being larger. Wo-have also accumulated large supplies of guns und aircraft. Our superiority is maintained, although it is steadily diminishing. The enemy's preparations are more or less complete, and he can attack as soon as his local preparations are finished. It is more difficult to di sC over these local preparations than the larger efforts, because camouflage has reached such a degree of si: ill that it is hard to learn what i 3 gcing on.—Aus.-N.Z.
