WAIKAREMOANA TRIP

POSTPONED OWING TO BAD WEATHER AND FLOODS.

At last evening's meeting of the City Council the Mayor (Mr. J. PLuke) notified the' members of the council that the trip to Waikaremoana had been postponed for a few days owing to weather conditions. The following telngram was received at the meeting:—"On account of heavy sea and floods in river regret that we are compelled to defer Waikaremoana trip for a few days. Will wire you immediately weather conditions are satisfactory. Please advise your delegates."
