Berne, March 4 The Burgomaster at Vienna, addressing tho municipality's officials, said:— "The word bankruptcy might be written on the door of the Austrian lood Department. Vienna is again obligod to ask Berlin's. assiatance. Ihe Government has utterly faded to realise tho desperate situation. Unloss wheat from tho Ukraine is soon obtained, Austria will be incapable of holding out."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
