DAMAGE LESS SERIOUS THAN EXPECTED.
By Tclefrraph.-Press Association. Core, March 2. The damage to Fleming and Co.'s cereal mills is not quite so as was believed yesterday. The central portion was completely gutted, but the northern portion, consisting of the silo,, is intact but for the roof. The southern block only lost its roof, and the fourth floor of the fkmrmill is intact. It is expected to resume milling operations within a few weeks. The insurances total £15,000 in New Zealand Office, of which £9305 is reinsured in various offices.
