AUSTRALIA'S MAN-POWER EFFORT
TEN SHILLING BONUS FOR EACH MAN RECRUITED. Sydney, February 26. The recruiting policy, provides that men who enlist, after a short period in camp, are to be given leave on pay to canvass for recruits in their home locality. A bonus of 10s. is to be paid the recruiting sergeant for each recruit actually enlisted. A special Magistrate has been appointed to inquire into cases of peisons of enemy birth in the Commonwealth employ.—Press Assn.
