BELGIUM AND GERMAN INTRIGUE
UNFALTERING DETERMINATION FOR INDEPENDENT RULE. Paris, February 17. The Belgian Council of Ministers congratulates the Flemish and Walloon Senators, Deputies, and Magistrates for heroically resisting the enemy's attempts to divide the nation through the so-called Flemish Council. The Belgian Council eulogises the people's unfaltering determination to continue the struggle for the integral restoration of the independence of Belgium.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. STRIKE OF JUDGES.
