ANOTHER MINE FOUND
OFF CAPE FAREWELL
IN THE SUSPECTED AREA
STATEMENT BY NAVAL AUTHORITY.
An' official statement was made yesterday to the effect that another mine had 'been discovered in Cook Strait. The statement runs as under :— "The Naval Adviser to the New Zealand Government announces that a second mine has been discovered, and was destroyed, in the suspected area off Cape Farewell." '
