BRITISH CRISIS RUMOURED PRESS COMMENT SEVERAL RESIGNATIONS IMMINENT (Rec. February 14, 1.30 a.m.) London, February 12. The "Daily Mail" states that it is rumoured that the Earl of Derby and several members of the Army Council will shortly resign.—United Service. A lobbyist states that efforts are being made to induce Mr. Asquith to sanction a hostile motion on behalf of the Opposition concerning the scope of the Supreme War Council. —"The Times." The "Morning Post", declares that tho politicians arc still attempting to interfere with the war strategy. "If Mr. Lloyd George persists in the military intervention urged by ignorant and interested courtiers, tho Higher Command cannot do anything but resign. If lie leaves the Army Council free he has nothing to fear and all to gain."—United Service.
