COLLECTIONS TO BE PERMITTED. Cabinet has resolved that permits arc to be issued for the collection of moneys for the erection of returned: soldiers' clubs. Accordingly, tho Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. G. W. Eussell) has advised the Mayor of Dunedin and the secretary of the Returned Soldiers' Association in Auckland, in. which towns bipc collections are proposed for the building of permanent clubs, that the moneys may he raised bv the usual methods.
