Wright, M.P., was to have taken tho. chair, but in bis unavoidable absence Mr. A. J. Bennett presided. The report (already published) and the balance-sheet, which disclosed a credit balance of £30 2s. Hid., and assets totalling £58 16s. lod., were rend and adopted. Tho committee recommended that an honorarium of £3 3s. be paid In Miss Hanify, the. honorary pianist, and Mr, H. Temple White, the conductor, and the meeting adopted the recommendation. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. It. A. Wright, M.P.; vice-presidents, llev. J. 11. White, Messrs. H. Allen, I. Clarke, .1. Y. Luke, :i'\ S. Pope, S. Stockhridge, tt. Parker, and Archbishop Redwood; conductor, Mr. H. Temple White; deputy-conduc-tor, Mr. M. L. Cameron; lion, secretarv, Mr. Victor R. Bennett; lion, treasurer, Mr. A. J. Blake; lion, librarian, Mr. A. Paterson; hon. pianist, Miss Phillis Hanify; committee, Mrs. Brewer, Mr. K. A. Tanner, Miss Nicholas; lion, auditor, Mr. C. J. Ellison.
