RISKS OF BATHING
ANOTHER. FATALITY. By Telegraph—Press Association. , r Auckland, February 4. Two young women, Misses Schniedemait and Wittner, had a narrow escapo from drowning while surf bathing on Takapuna beach. Dr. Carrick Robertson rescued Miss Schniedeman, and then returned for Miss Wittner. Hu got her ashore in a heavy sea, after an extremely difficult' and dangerous task. Miss Wittner was unconscious and life was restored by artificial means.
Ashburton, February 4. David Home, aged 36, married, with a wife and a child, was found drowned in the Methven swimming bath yesterday morning.
