MEASLES IN CAMP

« THE OUTBREAK IN lIAND. The outbreak of measles at Trenthant 0 Camp appears to be in hancL The patients and the contacts were isolated last week, and the only additional cases that are reported are among the contacts. The Thirty-fourth and Thirtyfifth Reinforcements are the drafts involved. The cases are of a mild character. There is no doubt at all that the infection came from outside the camp. The men were on leave at Christmas time, and tho sickness appeared after the usual incubation period. If the health of the troops were the solo consideration, the medical ■ authorities would be disposed to recommend a drastic curtailment of leave, but of course this is out of the question.
